YouTuber Vitalyzdtv reportedly arrested for assaulting woman

YouTuber Vitaly ‘Vitalyzdtv’ Zdorovetskiy was arrested in Miami, Florida on Sunday, April 12 for allegedly assaulting a woman who was out jogging on the street, according to reports.

Zdorovetskiy is best known as a YouTube prankster and has had run-ins with law enforcement in the past, with The Mirror reporting that the Russian-American content creator spent five days in an Egyptian jail in January after illegally climbing one of the iconic Giza pyramids.

He also famously ran onto the field during the 2014 FIFA World Cup Final in Brazil and streaked Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.

Vitaly is best known for uploading pranks to YouTube.

According to TMZ, Vitaly found himself on the wrong side of law enforcement once again on Easter Sunday, when he allegedly attacked a woman who was out for a jog, leaving her requiring stitches after what is claimed was an unprovoked assault.

TMZ reports that they gained access to legal documents that state the YouTuber was arrested on Sunday night when the woman who was out running at the time was jumped upon and punched in the face and chest by the 28-year-old. According to the affidavit, the victim suffered a cut above her right eye that required stitches to close, and also complained of pain in her chest.

The alleged victim told Miami police that she had not met or even seen Vitaly before the incident took place, and said she screamed for help during the attack which was apparently witnessed by a number of local residents. The report claims that the YouTuber, who has over 10 million subscribers, then ran back inside a home in the neighborhood, where he was later arrested and charged with aggravated battery according to The South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Law enforcement sources reportedly informed TMZ that Vitaly posted a $7,500 bond on Monday, April 13, and has been released from police custody.
