The best Steam Autumn sales for Black Friday 2019
Valve has listed several noteworthy game titles for sale during their 2019 Autumn Sale. Here’s a peek at some of the best deals and most interesting games that are available at a discounted price.
It’s Black Friday, and you’re likely feeling the effects of your own gluttony from the previous day’s Thanksgiving meal. But rather than forcing yourself to wake up from a self-induced food coma only to risk life and limb duking it out for a discounted plasma screen TV, there’s a safer option to get deals today.
Valve is currently in the midst of another one of its notorious sales, this time being the Autumn Sale going on from November 26 to December 3. So instead of buying something you don’t need at a store, you can stay at home and buy something you don’t need.

No Man’s Sky – Was $60, now $30
What was once the poster child for false promises from a developer has now become a prominent example of the belief that any game can be salvaged and saved. No Man’s Sky released in 2016 to a crowd of exceptionally disappointed fans. Repetitive gameplay, a glaring lack of features, and expectations beyond Hello Games’ control plagued the outer space exploration game’s release.
But everyone loves a comeback story, even gamers. Over the past couple of years, the developers committed to their title, releasing numerous massive free updates to fix what was broken and build upon it. That change is reflected in the Steam reviews, as No Man’s Sky has received Very Positive reviews in recent times.
As the price has been halved for this sale, Hello Games have released their eighth free update on Thanksgiving Day, titled Synthesis. Despite No Man Sky’s dicey launch, it’s corrected its course mid-flight thanks to its dedicated flight crew.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War Definitive Edition – Was $60, now $15
The amount of content provided for this price is a splendid deal regardless, but that deal is even more valuable when you consider how immersive and grand Shadow of War is.
The series is famous for its Nemesis system, a unique hierarchy of Orc captains and warchiefs procedurally generated with their own strengths and weaknesses, and their own allies and rivals. Shadow of War builds on this system with Fortresses, menacing strongholds that give the player numerous options on how to dismantle them.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection – Was $40, still $40, still worth it
While not on sale, only $40 for re-released versions of six incredible Halo games for the PC is a fantastic deal.
Microsoft announced in March of this year that the Master Chief Collection would be coming to the PC in 2019, and fans were surprised to see it coming to Steam in addition to the Microsoft store. The Collection will released for PC in installments, in chronological order, meaning Halo Reach will release first on December 3.
