How to get free FIFA 22 Next Generation cards: Mbappe, Pulisic, Foden

EA SPORTS has introduced a number of new FIFA 22 Next Generations cards, here’s how to get your hands on one for absolutely free. 

The new FUT special cards were confirmed on November 18, with a number of Ultimate Team ambassadors included in the mini-promo.

These players will be significantly upgraded versions compared to their base ratings in the game, with the exception of one superstar who has received a downgrade. Not that it makes him any less formidable.

When will FIFA 22 Generations cards come out? Start date

If you’ve been a regular FIFA 22 player from the start, EA SPORTS will be dishing out your card on December 15, 2021. But, anyone who logs in to Ultimate Team before January 14, 2022, will be eligible to claim their reward immediately.

Every single FUT player will be treated to one of these special cards, so long as they log in before the deadline.

How to get FIFA 22 Generations cards

To be in with a chance of claiming a FIFA 22 Generations card, all you have to do is play Ultimate Team by January 14. 2022. This means that everybody that’s waited until Christmas to get this year’s game won’t miss out.

Unfortunately, you don’t get a choice on which player to add to your club. Instead, you will be met by a pack on the FUT store, which contains a random Next Generations player.

Last year, a similar promotion was released with David Beckham – a new ICON card at the time – being made available.

Instead of offering the strong legend card for free, however, EA decided to make these free rewards a downgraded version. It seems that the same thinking went into this Generations promo, too.
