Dragon’s Blood tells the story of Davion, a renowned Dragon Knight devoted to wiping the Scourge from the face of the world. After encounters with a powerful and ancient eldwurm, Davion becomes tangled up in events far bigger than he could have ever imagined.

It’s not just Davion that Dota fans can look forward to, as the series also heavily features Mirana, the Princess of the Moon. She’s described as being on a secret mission of her own that will have a big impact on the Dragon Knight’s story.

“Fans will love how we’ve imagined the Dota 2 universe and woven together an epic, emotional, and adult-oriented story about some of their favorite characters,” said Ashley Edward Miller, who serves as showrunner and producer.

Dota: Dragon’s Blood Season 2 release date

There hasn’t been an official announcement of a second season (or ‘Book’) for Dota: Dragon’s Blood yet, as Netflix will likely want to wait and see how well the first season has performed with viewers at home.

But that hasn’t stopped speculation about the show’s future. In fact, animatic editor Robert Meyer Burnett said in his ‘Robservations’ YouTube webcast on February 16 that the last episode he’s working on is number 24, according to Bustle.

Considering the first season only features eight episodes, this certainly sounds like Robert could be making preparations for not just a second, but a third season of Dota: Dragon’s Blood on Netflix.
