CoD Mobile Season 2 puts Task Force 141 in the spotlight.

CoD Mobile Season 2 Task Force 141: Release Date

CoD Mobile Season 2: Task Force 141 launched on Wednesday, February 23 at 4PM PT | 7PM ET.

This marked exactly five weeks between seasonal updates, following on from Season 1: Heist.

CoD Mobile Season 2 Task Force 141: New Weapon

Among the very first teasers for Season 2 was that of a new weapon. While CoD Mobile devs often confirm two guns simultaneously, that trend was broken on February 7 with a new Shotgun reveal.

The JAK-12 Shotgun could tear through CoD Mobile’s meta in Season 2.

Based on an empty weapon crate, it became evident Modern Warfare’s JAK-12 Shotgun was next in line for a CoD Mobile port. With almost every gun from the 2019 title now available, the JAK-12 is one of the last to crossover.

Originally made available in Modern Warfare Season 6, the JAK-12 immediately stood out as the fastest-firing Shotgun in the game. As a result, it’s likely to have a similar impact in CoD Mobile as one of the deadliest weapons in its category.

CoD Mobile Season 2 Task Force 141: New Maps

As usual with new seasons in CoD Mobile, a new battleground just arrived in the latest update.

Season 2 is just introduced Hardhat, a classic map that first appeared in 2011’s Modern Warfare 3.

Hardhat is now available in CoD Mobile Season 2.

This smaller layout drops players into a New York construction site and features multiple levels for combat.

While we typically see two full maps or even some classic map variants in each season, Hardhat arrived as the lone addition in Season 2.

CoD Mobile Season 2 Task Force 141: Chopper Gunner Scorestreak

CoD Mobile players are now able to rain down destruction from above with the new Chopper Gunner Scorestreak in Season 2. This manually controlled streak should be familiar to CoD veterans as it functions just the same here in the handheld title.

Activating the Scorestreak causes a Chopper to fly over any given map on a fixed loop. Players take control of a minigun on the side with unlimited ammunition. Though continuously firing will eventually cause the gun to overheat.

With enemies highlighted on the ground, this streak should lead to plenty of easy kills. But if you find yourself in trouble, you always have access to two decoy missiles that can distract any homing missiles coming your way.

CoD Mobile Season 2 Task Force 141: Battle Pass

The latest CoD Mobile Battle Pass is one of the biggest yet as everyone’s favorite Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley is finally back in action.

CoD’s iconic character returned in Season 2 and players can get their hands on his latest skin directly in the new Battle Pass.

Not only that, but new looks for Alex Mason are in the Season 2 Battle Pass as players can unlock his Hard Wired and Charly skins.

Also featured in the Battle Pass is the aforementioned Chopper Gunner Scorestreak at Tier 14.
