Well-known Treyarch Lead Game Designer for Black Ops Cold War, Tony Flame, saw his Twitter account get hacked the morning of December 25. Flame is known as one of the main channels of communication on social media between the Call of Duty developer team and player-base. Most Call of Duty fans who are active on Twitter will be familiar with the name Tony Flame. As Lead Game Designer at Treyarch, Flame is not only one of the top voices of authority when it comes to Black Ops Cold War, but he’s also how a lot of announcement and information gets passed on between the devs and players.

Sojourn is the only confirmed hero to debut in Overwatch 2 and there’s loads to know about her. From exciting new abilities to deep lore connections, there’s a lot to get hyped about in the buildup to the sequel.  Overwatch 2 is right around the corner which means its current poster child, Sojourn, is basking in the spotlight as release day draws closer. Being that she appeared in the Storm Rising archive event back in 2019, you may recognize this grizzled vet by face, but there’s a lot more than meets the eye when it comes to the game’s 33rd hero.

Apex Legends players have been left very frustrated by the Digital Threat scope that comes as an attachment with the gold Longbow and other in-game snipers. In Apex Legends, a player’s weapons and resources in-game are all determined by what loot they find once they’ve dropped into the map. This loot can come in the form of various rarities and typically, the higher the rarity, the better the item. If players are lucky, they’ll occasionally find a gold gun that is kitted out with some of the best attachments for that weapon.

A cosplayer has hit out at Raid: Shadow Legends for seemingly copying her look for one of their characters in-game, and the community has backed their claim. Typically, cosplayers will either dress up and make themselves look like their favorite character from a TV show, movie, or video game, but some do break the mold and come up with their own unique looks. These cosplays can garner huge amounts of attention with likes and positive replies pouring in across social media, with actors, game devs, and directors sometimes even chiming in compliments over their own.

Well, a player may have found the perfect location to hold and camp whilst fighting off the cops. It has been seven years since the release of GTA Online back in October of 2013. Although now classed as a relatively old title, GTA Online maintains a large and dedicated player base.

Warzone Season 1 has been out for quite some time, and nearly every Vanguard weapon has been nerfed in some way. Now, JGOD has shown off the best loadouts to take on Caldera.  The new Warzone season came on December 8 with over 40 Vanguard weapons bringing the weapon total to over 150. This means there are thousands of combinations to make the best class. Vanguard weapons like the Cooper Carbine, BAR, MP40, and more quickly rose to the top as the go-to in Warzone, but they were all nerfed in some way.

Well-established Overwatch model Le Blanc Cosplay conjured up in impressive take on the character Reaper with her own female flare. Le Blanc’s twist on the Talon antagonist involves a full gender swap, with the outfit clearly showing off the female take. Instead of being cloaked and hooded, this cosplay has switched things up with the Ukranian model opting to flaunt her white hair. Additionally, she decided to feminize the hero’s dark attire with a skirt and top as opposed to the black trench coat style the character is known for.

Pokimane has apologized for using AAVE (African American Vernacular English) in the title of her August 19 Twitch stream. Fans called her out, claiming she was “mocking” the dialect form.  Pokimane is the latest social media personality to spark controversy over the use AAVE. Olivia Rodrigo was slammed by Twitter users back in July for adopting a ‘blaccent’ and using phrases such as “I be trending.” Non-black celebrities are regularly pulled up for their use of the dialect.

Imane “Pokimane” Anys is one of Twitch’s biggest streaming stars, boasting over four million followers on the platform due to her humorous broadcasts — but being internet famous isn’t always the cakewalk it’s made out to be. Despite her blossoming career as an online entertainer, Poki is often met with criticism online, with many spiteful comments under her social media posts accusing her fans of being “simps.” “Simp” is an insulting term that has skyrocketed in popularity in online circles as of late, referring to men who are viewed as too submissive toward women, especially online personalities, from whom they hope to achieve some kind of romantic attention for their efforts.

Warzone players believe there has been another influx of cheaters as they’ve become pretty prevalent again around the recent June 3rd update. Just like many other multiplayer games, Warzone has had its fair share of issues with cheaters and hackers.  It’s not uncommon to drop into a game on Verdansk and have to deal with someone who is using wallhacks or an aimbot. Raven Software haveramped up their efforts to get rid of these cheats, shutting down over 500,000 accounts and cheat selling websites – even shadowbanning cheaters so they can only play against each other.
