New World devs promise to fix broken economy in major November update

Amazon Games just released a massive New World update that aims to fix the game’s broken economy in the aftermath of currency inflation and gold duplication exploits. Despite a tumultuous start to Q4, AGS are showing players dedication to fixing the biggest problems in their new MMO when it comes to gameplay, exploits, and its in-game economy. Update 1.0.5 and an emergency fix to the game’s Trading Post and other gold transference are both rolling out on November 3.

FaZe Clan drop lead editor Barker after allegations surface

FaZe Clan have parted ways with one of their editors, known as FaZe Barker. The move comes after a series of accusations of misconduct against the editor surfaced on social media. FaZe’s roots began as one of the many ‘sniping clans’ on YouTube, popularized in the Modern Warfare 2 era of Call of Duty. Barker was one of the editors who would put together montages, displaying highlights from members of the clan.

Pokemon Go devs reschedule Kyogre Raid Hour and apologize for issues

Due to an issue that occurred during Pokemon Go Raid Hour, Niantic has issued an apology and scheduled a make-up day for the event. Every so often, Pokemon Go will host micro-events called Raid Hours. For 60 minutes, a specific Pokemon, usually a Legendary, will appear in gyms more frequently. A recent raid hour featured the Gen 3 legendary water-type Kyogre. On June 7 from 6 PM to 7 PM local time, the legendary whale would be in the Pokemon Go spotlight.

Shroud admits he doesn't know his Twitch sub count anymore

Twitch star Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek was live streaming Valorant Champions when he admitted he doesn’t keep track of his subscriber count. Shroud has one of the most popular Twitch channels on the entire streaming platform, having amassed over 9.8 million followers. That number is good for the fifth-most followers on all of Twitch. With that level of popularity also comes a wild amount of subscribers for Shroud’s channel, so many so he’s admitted he doesn’t even know how many he has.
