Fortnite World Cup winner Aqua reveals reason for FNCS ban

Fortnite World Cup champion David ‘aqua’ Wang has apologized after being handed a ban from playing in the FNCS by Epic Games amid allegations of stream sniping. Following the Fortnite Championship Series Week 3 trio semis, Aqua and his trio, Rezon and Noahreyli, were accused of stream sniping of other players.  Aqua, who claimed glory at the Fortnite World Cup duos event back in July of 2019, was spotted by fans in MrSavage’s Twitch chat, which only added fuel to the fire when he was handed a two-week ban from FNCS action by Epic.

Shroud roasts Mizkif over potential DMCA ban: "Back to being a cameraman"

Twitch star Matthew ‘shroud’ Grzesiek delivered a hilarious diss to fellow streamer Matthew ‘Mizkif’ after concerns he would be banned under DMCA rules. On January 7, Pokimane was banned from Twitch amid a watch party for Avatar: The Last Airbender. Her suspension was seen by many as the beginning of the end of Twitch’s TV meta where streamers have been watching shows on their broadcasts. Pokimane wasn’t the only streamer watching Avatar, however.

Epic Games explain why they vaulted the Infinity Blade in Fortnite

Fortnite announced on Friday, December 14 that the Infinity Blade would be headed to the vault after the community lashed out about the weapon being incredibly overpowered. [ad name=”article1″] The first Mythic weapon in Fortnite was introduced on Tuesday, December 11, the same day as the start of the NA Winter Royale Finals. After the weapon ended up taking center stage for basically being a free ticket to win, many were calling for it to either be put in its own game mode or to be vaulted altogether.

Riot are apparently testing a seventh item slot for League of Legends

An screenshot accidently uploaded by Riot has revealed the developers have been testing out a seventh item slot for League of Legends ⁠— the first inventory size increase in the game’s history. While League of Legends’ items have evolved season-on-season, inventory size has remained the same throughout the game’s history. League of Legends has had the six item slot system since the game’s launch back in 2009. Riot did add a seventh slot for trinkets in Season 4, but player builds have always been capped at the six item mark.

Unreleased Forza Horizon 5 car parts for customization have been discovered and players would like to see them added to the game in a future update.  Customizing vehicles in the Forza series has always been a fan-favorite feature, in both Motorsport and Horizon. It gives members of the community to put their own twist on some of the world’s top super and hypercars, as well as share them to be downloaded by other people.

FaZe Temperrr wins boxing appeal after "rigged" King Kenny match

FaZe Temperrr has officially been declared as the winner after appealing what many called a “rigged” boxing match against King Kenny.  On March 5, the world was treated to Showstar’s UK vs USA influencer boxing event. This showdown saw the likes of Deji vs Alex Wassabi alongside co-main event FaZe Temperrr vs King Kenny. The Showstar event faced heavy backlash following the matches as fans stormed the ring, racist remarks flew around, and claims of rigged fights loomed over their heads.

Pokemon Masters EX players worried it may get canceled after Nintendo axes Dragalia Lost

Nintendo’s cancellation of Dragalia Lost has some Pokemon fans worried that Masters EX and Cafe Remix could meet a similar fate.  Originally launching in 2018, Dragalia Lost was Nintendo’s first jump into the Gacha mobile genre. Although it was a massive hit at first, the Japanese developer canceled the free-to-play mobile title after waning sales figures. Players who invested thousands of dollars into the game were outraged by the sudden announcement.
