Valve take control of CS:GO Major calendar with set dates for 2020 and 2021

Valve are set to take more control over the CS:GO calendar by enforcing set dates for the Majors over the next two years. [ad name=”article1″] According to a report by HLTV, Valve have contacted tournament organizers to request proposals for the CS:GO Majors of 2020 and 2021. Unusually, however, they’ve also specified that the Majors in the next two years be held on specific dates. Apex Legends dev confirms they're "not removing" tap strafing but changes still planned

The tap-strafing movement mechanic has become a highly controversial topic in the Apex Legends community. Even though Respawn initially announced its removal in an upcoming patch, a dev has since confirmed that it would be “tuned” instead. When it was announced that tap-strafing would be removed due to it being a “design problem”, many players were up in arms. This resulted in Respawn further delaying the scheduled patch. However, in an interview with John Larson, the game‘s Live Balance Designer, the developer said that tap-strafing will not be removed in Apex Legends, simply tuned.

Respawn reverts "secret" Apex Legends SMG nerf targeting R-99, Volt, more

Apex Legends players were stunned to log onto Season 12 and find an assortment of secret nerfs to their favorite SMGs like the R-99, Volt, Alternator, and Prowler. However, Respawn has confirmed the secret changes were “unintentional” and reverted them. For the first few hours of Apex Legends Season 12, players felt like their sprays with the game’s SMG were wildly off the mark. Only one, the Volt, got a mention in the patch notes though due to the fact it had been shifted to Care Packages in the February update.
